Oh, Sherlock, you are so very, very pretty. Yes, a reference was used for this picture, but in the spirit of true forgetfulness, I can’t even remember what part of which episode I got it from. I think it might be the later half of The Hounds of Baskerville? I feel rather proud of this painting. Done in photoshop, total time: about 4 hours altogether (15mins + 30mins + 3hrs15mins). Yes, I do keep track of exactly how long each of my paintings take, just so that I know when I’m improving. This was a bit of a surprise. It came out far, far better than I’d expected, and quite a bit faster too. I’m taking this as a sign that my mad photoshop skills are getting better. :D Yes, I know he looks about 10 years older, but I’m choosing to ignore that for now. View Larger
